I saw an idea somewhere for an "Avatar of Lyssandra (spelling?)" from which you could buy emotes - I love the emotes and dances that add a real community aspect to the game, some emotes i'd liek to see:
/Slap
/hug
/Shifty (generaly look suspious)
/fall (perhaps some sort of slapstick fall?)
/cower (a nice response to /boo lol, and it'll make the npcs look so good)
/loot w00t (thats just a personal favourite of mine when i find a gold item, it involves rolling around in your loot - painfull if you found swords)
im sure you can think of others

-Auction House
-Stylist NPC
-More Guild Hall Upgrades such as:
+Trainers (not skill trainers, but trainers that will allow either just you or a party of guildies to participate in "training" like that is offered at Shing Jea to get your insignia, possibly more options and use hench as practice partners/targets)
+Possible Fireworks Master (for parties at guild halls)
+Mini-Games (examples being Whack-A-Worm, Exploding Tag, Dodge-Orb, Guild Lottery, etc...)
(If added to in game content)
+Auctioneer NPC (for implemented Auction House, if it ever comes)
+Stylist NPC (for implemented Stylist to change appearances)
-More Job Specific quests that give skills (save money for cap sigs/extra skills)
-New "original" pets, not just a couple new ones and some reskins of older ones
-More new hench that "specialize" in certain ares (perhaps a hydro hench?)
-On above note, improved AI for hench, or maybe just some really simple commands like "Run"/"Defend"/"Attack"/"Stay"

I'd just like it to have the same minimum system requirements as Prophecies, so my crappy yet affordable computer can take it...
Oh, but you didn't have that in mind.
1. storage (too much stuff)
2. better trade options (so I can get rid of my stuff)
3. missions I can hench through (since getting a PUG is becoming a pain)
4. more Anet/NCSoft support staff (so I can complain about people harassing me to someone other than a bot)
5. caster-friendly npcs (like mobs that don't drop everything on my poor mesmer and spike-kill her just coz she was the first to cast at them (calling a mob doesn't make the hench move), or hench that don't lock on to the foe you're casting at, making hex/condition-spreaders inefficient, but on the one you call)
There's other stuff too, but I don't think anyone would read it.

I'd like to see my money be counted when I deposit it into my storage, instead of just dissapearing. A-Net you glitched out 75k.
Auction house, better environment interaction, dye storage.
For an ingame fee, a personal outpost where you could just throw all your crap on the ground and call that storage.
I want to see new weapon mods mostly.

Been playing through Prophecies from the start and some things I'd like to see in NF are:
1) quests in missions (this happens in Prophecies - albeit a simple one) - this would be outside of the mission
2) more diverse collector items - in and around Old Ascalon there are some good diverse items but they seem to dry up and become bog standard later on...
3) quests that react to how you did - for example, have a quest with 2 or 3 endings (either bribe the person, threaten them or report them) then have another quest that opens up dependant on that. There are a few in GW but make it more obvious that what you doing now is because of what you did...

Re-working the party menu.
Adding the ability to save and load builds
Both of which are discussed in detail (with great illustrations) in this Guild-Hall forums thread:
http://www.guild-hall.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37339
It's very nicely done; I strongly recommend that you take a look.

Save and Load skill builds to characters. If somebody like to use multiple skill builds he can simple make one and save it and load it when need.

15 50 is not a true mod, but a native part of the weapon. It has been previously suggested that Weapon Modifcation Traders should be implemented; an idea that has some merit, as the prices would still effect suply and demand.
The weapon damage mods need to remain native to the weapon otherwise only skins would have value. All non desireable skins with 15 50 mods would just be salvaged. It would generally screw up the weapon market imho.

Roleplaying Districts.
There's a ton of support for them, all that needs to be done is just have a separate set of districts for us who like that sort of thing.
Other than that... eh, the auction house would be alright, and I wouldn't mind a "Where is...?" NPC, just talk to him/her/it and get a list of NPCs in that area, like the Xunlai agents, and various traders, merchants, etc.

I would like the Experience aspect to go back to what it was in Prophecies. When you start in Tyria, your first bunch of missions are all for like 300 exp, or 100 exp. You start Factions already at lvl 2 and all the missions are for 3000 exp and up. You're at lvl 20 in no time. And to me, that sucks. It makes exp useless for the rest of the game.
Additionally, I would like it to go back to giving out skills as a reward for completing missions as well.

Some of this has been mentioned, I'm just adding my vote.
--------------------High Priority Requests--------------------
PvE for PvP.
I like playing different things. For example, I may want to try a minion master in PvE without having a primary N or Rt, and don't want to level/equip one just to do so. So let PvP characters access high end PvE. Not story line Cooperative Missions that advance a character through the game, but other high end areas that you have to press "enter mission". These would be Challenge Missions, Competitive Missions (which really are PvP, but only PvE characters can do), Elite Missions, Hall of Heros (the PvE one), and Temple of Ages mission. But require an objective in each of those missions that has to be accomplished by a PvE character before you can unlock it on the map for PvP characters. This could be like finding an NPC and possibly even paying that npc for the unlock (like the The Eternal Forgemaster in Fissure of Woe), or completing a quest (like a more complicated one in FoW or UW), or killing a specific monster.
Training area.
Like Isle of the Nameless, but as challenging as you want. You choose play style and opponents. No experience/drops/rewards, just fun.
Opponents: choose from NPC's in the game. Eventually (since this would be a lot of work) allow you to customize your own opponents builds and save them as tradeable templates.
Play Style: fight the opponents as a group in an arena, or as waves where the chosen opponents come at you every so many minutes, or get stronger in numbers or level with each wave.
Build Templates.
Let you design your own PvP templates to add to the stock list. Eventually add a trainer type npc who you can craft a tradeable build "tome" for your inventory. The build scroll is based on attributes (unmodified by gear) and skills your current character (PvP or PvE) is set up with, as well as a title and description you may type in describing the build. Double clicking a tome will add it to your templates library. Templates library may be accessed in the first PvP creation screen. Template library may also be accessed from a new tab in the (H)ero window. Only same primary attribute templates will be accessible here. Choosing a the template will change your skills and attribute points (unmodified by gear). If you don't have the skill unlocked (for that character or account depending on if it's PvE or PvP), the slot will be blank. If you don't have the secondary unlocked for a PvE character, your secondary will not change.
Less Lag Jumping
Happens when near edges. Also smarter pathing for NPC's and PC's.
--------------------Medium Priority Requests--------------------
Minor henchie control
stay/defensive/aggressive
Storage
More storage expansion opportunities (the materials one was nice, though seems scammy that only Factions characters have access too).
More Epic Scale.
I don't want to have to organize a group of over 8 players for PvE, but large over-powered bosses are fun. Side note: I love how the last level of Factions was so quick to get to the boss, even though this boss wasn't necessarily a "more epic scale" boss. But I also mean more epic scale of architecture/landscape.
Mounts.
Not for Nightfall, but eventually a class with "Mount Mastery" (much like Beast Mastery) would be interesting.
Character Slots.
Don't rip us off of even more character slots.
Quote:
Guild Wars Nightfall Bonus Key, providing one additional character slot for a Guild Wars Nightfall account... (this quote from Arena Nets official list of what comes with the preorder)
|
When you combine a new game to an existing account, you are basically robbed of two slots that you would had if this wasn't an "expansion". There's certainly no monetary refund that goes with this character reduction. Nightfall should have two additional slots regardless of the preorder (actually should have four, but it obviously won't).
Rebate.
Offer a small rebate for tieing accounts together. Becuase tieing an new game to an existing account effectively makes it an expansion instead of a full game (and because of the reason in the previous point).
Change Favor.
That you can only pray to the gods some time, and that there is a reason you have favor is interesting. But the way it manifests only promisses to promote racism (even though it's region, which encompasses multiple races). Plus it makes no sense why the gods care about Earth.
--------------------Nightfall Specific Requests--------------------
Bring Back Bonuses.
Bonus missions in Prophesies made me want to complete them more than the fast time in Factions. I liked it for a change, but I hope all expansions aren't like this.
More Powerful Elite Forms. Not much more. I like the long cooldown, so that it keeps their power in check, and that they are under the primary attribute so you have to be a primary Dervish to use them effectively. But add a taste of the PvE shrines to them. For example, +1 to Warrior and Fire Magic attributes for Avatar of Balthazar. This would create for some interesting secondary class combinations, and add a level of meaning to your secondary prof choice. Even with the boost you couldn't beat the rune options of the secondary class.
Less Powerful Elite Form Skills. Just can't make up my mind can I? But having a god posses your body is bound to wreak havok on the body. Taking damage when you come out of the form, or mixing a negative effect (like health degeneration) while in a potentially even more powerful form could be interesting. Maybe just for some forms. Like a Balthazar form making you burn, and burn enemies. Yeah, kind of along the lines of burning speed. But I don't know if you make this burning a condition or an effect that you can't just plague touch away.
More Elite Form Skills.
Have a couple forms for each god like "Lyssa's Song" and "Lyssa's Dance". Each with their own mesmer-esque unique effects (and the +1 to Me and A attributes). If the story line allows for it, it would be very interesting to have elite forms related to lesser known gods that may or may not have fallen out of favor. Using these gods could have negative effects on your character while in the form.
Better Lyssa Avatar.
All of them look pretty sweat except for this one. It conceptually makes sense, but isn't very exciting. Maybe incorporate some energy/intangibility from the face that show when you kneel to her statue, or something like the two intertwining women.
A lot of that is about elite forms. Not that I used them much on the preview weekend, but it's just that I think they have so much potential. I imagine that since the Dervish only had like 7 elites, that they do have more expansive elite forms planned for the final release.
More Straight Paragon.
Ok, it's hard to make a roman soldier look straight. I like the idea of the angelic armor, but don't think it helps much. No advice for how to change this. I like the idea of playing a male battle commander, but think I may have to stick with a female for this role. But hey, maybe you'll tap into that City of Heroes market a little
